Frequently Asked Questions


We try to anticipate questions you might have about our Groupon Promotion and provide the answers here. If you need additional information please give us a call.

1.

When do you have availability?

We maintain real time online availability on our website.  Do keep in mind that Groupon rooms book very quickly during these offers.  Check our availability if you want to check specific dates.  Availability buttons are bright blue and located on the Guest Room page.


2.

Can I reserve my room before I have the voucher? 

No.  Sorry, but you must have the voucher number when you make your reservation.  Dates are available on a first come, first serve basis so we recommend you book soon after receiving your voucher number.


3.

Will you have a Wait List for highly requested dates?

No.  Continue to view the online availability calendar on our website to check the dates you are interested in as availability will change frequently.


4.

Can I use a Groupon voucher for an existing reservation?

No.  Groupon vouchers must be used toward a new reservation.


5.

Can I upgrade my room or add on more nights?

Upgrades are not available with the Groupon promotion.  We would enjoy having you stay longer and will offer you a 15% discount off standard rates for additional nights.  The Groupon Add-On discount can not be combined with any other promotions/discounts.

What if I want a specific guest room?

If you wish to reserve a specific guest room, then the standard rate will apply.  Groupon vouchers cannot be used toward reserving a specific guest room but can only be used toward a Groupon category of queen or king.

I have my voucher number, how do I make a reservation?

Online: Through our website, choose the Groupon Queen or Groupon King room (they are named as such) and indicate the number of nights you have purchased.  Be sure to put your Groupon voucher number in "Preferences/Guest Comments" section of the reservation form.  Choosing a guest room, other than the Groupon category guest room, will result in the reservation being changed to the Groupon category guest room, subject to availability. 

Within 72 hours, you will receive an updated confirmation showing the payment of the voucher and the taxes that are due.

Phone: Reservation requests are accepted between the hours of 10:00 am and 6:30 pm.  We do have heavy call volume and will answer messages in the order they are received so please leave a message to ensure your place in line.

 


8.

I see that there are different types of rooms.  What does my voucher entitle me too?

Your voucher is for either a queen or king room.  You will find out which queen or king room you will be enjoying upon your arrival.  Your voucher is for a queen or king category of room and not a specific room.


9.

I have already paid for my getaway.  Why do you need a credit card number? 

We must have a valid credit card on file to book a reservation.  You will be responsible for applicable taxes and they will be charged to your credit card seven (7) days prior to arrival (the Inn's cancellation period).


10.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are not accepted as part of the Groupon promotion.


11.

Do you accept children?

We accept children of all ages.  This package is designed to be a getaway for two so try to treat yourself to a little time away.  If you wish to have an additional guest there is a $25/per person per night fee.


12.

What time is Check in?  Checkout?

Check in is 3:30 - 6:00 pm.  If you will be arriving after 6:00 pm please let the Innkeeper know prior to arrival day so that a self check in can be arranged if necessary.  Checkout is 11:00 am.

What type of breakfast is served and what time is it served?

Our full hearty American breakfast is served between 9:00 - 9:15 am in the dining room for each day of your stay.  The menu is not available ahead of time but some of the menu items we like to prepare for you is Frech toast, breakfast calzone, fresh fruit parfait and upsidedown pancakes.

I have food allergies and/or a specific diet; can you accommodate my special needs? 

Yes.  Just let us know your dietary restrictions/requirements when you make your reservation and we will do our best to accommodate your diet special needs.  Please know that the Inn's commercial kitchen is neither kosher nor gluten free.


 

 


15.

Is alcohol allowed on the property?

Claiborne County is a dry county for purchasing but please feel free to bring your own bottle of wine to enjoy.  We will provide the wine glasses for you.


16.

When does the voucher expire?

Your voucher will expire on the "promotional value" expiration date listed on your voucher.


17.

What if I can't use the voucher before it expires?

Unused, expired vouchers become a gift certificate valued at the dollar amount paid and may be used toward lodging at a future date.  If you purchased a two night stay, then the future lodging would be a two night stay and the same restriction if the three night stay voucher was purchased.


18.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for a seven (7) day notice if you need to cancel or change your reservation.  Cancellations made at least seven (7) days in advance will be assessed a $50 cancellation fee.  Cancellations without proper notice or "no Shows" will result in forfeiture of the voucher.  For our complete cancellation policy please refer to Our Policy page on the website.
